I severely doubt this would actually happen but he does offer some compelling thoughts and a direct tie to the madness we have witnessed over the past decade (i.e. tax law changes in 1997 that favor "investments" in real estate over other investment classes). It still baffles me that real estate agents who benefit so greatly from such subsidies would speak out so loudly against subsidies for another industry while completely ignoring those subsidies benefiting their own industry. I suppose irony is lost on those only looking out for themselves.
