I have a number of friends in this "picture-perfect" town and have to agree with the writer's assessment. It's an almost perfect small town and a great place to visit to get away from congestion and over commericialization. Hopefully the powers that be in Garrett County don't forget that charm, authenticity and the small-town feel do a lot to attract visitors too.
