The Saga Continues in Kendall Camp ..

I've talked about Deep Creek's Kendall Camp development on this blog before and based on this recent price change (200 Kendall Camp Circle now $599,900) I'm seeing more of the same, reduced prices. This one is for sale again after being purchased in Feb 2008 (for $610,900), so it looks like it wasn't the investment the current owners expected or the one that some real estate agents were touting it to be in 2008. Another owner who seemingly could not be saved from all the bad advice out there. It wasn't that long ago that someone suggested that $940,000 was the "value" of properties in Kendall Camp. By the same logic, now I suppose the property that sold for $725,000 (months after the agent announced that it was "very competitively priced" at $899,900) has decreased in value to less than $600,000.

Remember, agents make their money on the sale, regardless of whether or not it turns out to be good for you. Keep that in mind the next time you hear an agent (salesman) tell you it's a great time to buy (as it always is according to them).

Don't forget to check back to Dan's Deep Creek Blog for your future updates on Deep Creek real estate.
