Inventory still growing on a year-over-year basis; sales don't appear to be declining at the previous rate; months of active inventory stabilizing for the time being; plenty of distressed property sales looming.

Please note that I also urged caution in my comment. My last word were "only if you can afford it." I don't nor have ever urged someone to take more than they can afford. My attitude has always been, if you have to rent it, you can't afford it.
