Friday's Deep Creek Price Change Spotlight

This week we profile another real estate price change on Marsh Hill Rd; this one at 1549 MARSH HILL Rd. Originally listed back in Sept 2010 for $998,500; now listed at $899,000. In 2006, the current owners purchased the property for $920,000.

Stats for July are now out from the Maryland Realtors. The numbers are more accurate than June's figures, with 21 units sold and 885 in active inventory. The 25 units sold are below the average in recent years, and the inventory continues to rise. It would take 42 months to clear out the inventory at the current rate of sale. Not good news for those of us trying to sell.

Correction-25 units, not 21, sold in Garrett County in July. With the inventory increasing to 885, it would take "only" 35.4 months to clear the inventory. Almost, but not quite three years.
